Yorktown to Host Parent Academy Course on Substance Use and Abuse

Arlington parents are invited to attend a Parent Academy program on adolescent substance use and abuse. The discussion will be held Tue, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Yorktown High School cafeteria. (5200 Yorktown Blvd.)

The high school years can bring challenging times of transition, stress and vulnerability to families and adolescents alike. Please join parents, educators and a panel of experts for an informative, interactive and collaborative discussion on adolescent substance use and abuse in our community and how the community can work together to help adolescents.

The APS Parent Academy offers parents and guardians of children attending public or private schools in Arlington opportunities to obtain information on a wide variety of subjects.
