CATS & DOGS: THE REVENGE OF KITTY GALORE Advance Movie Screening (see it before it’s released)

In the age-old battle between cats and dogs, one crazed feline has taken things a paw too far. Kitty Galore, formerly an agent for cat spy organization MEOWS, has gone rogue and hatched a diabolical plan to not only bring her canine enemies to heel, but take down her former kitty comrades and make the world her scratching post.

Anything Goes features the classic songs of Cole Porter. Besides the title song, the show introduced such standards as “You’re the Top,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” and “It’s De-Lovely. This event is on both Saturday and Sunday.

Storytime is held at the Clarendon Barnes and Noble in the Children’s section of the store. Saturday and Sunday from 9am-11am.
Las Aventuras de Tio Conejo
@ Classika Theatre (Arlington, VA)
Continuing a tradition of multicultural storytelling, Synetic Family Theater presents The Adventures of Tio Conejo. Tio Conejo joins the Synetic’s trademark blend of pantomime and movement with a Boal-esque approach to interactive theatre. Our hero, Tio Conejo (“Uncle Rabbit”) takes the audience along as he evolves from helpless prey to sly trickster. Tio Conejo features Stefanie Garcia as the title role with Jack Miggins, Rhea Smirlock, and Lauren Lakis as a host of other animal comics. Presented in English with elementary Spanish with live music. Tickets are available for both Saturday and Sunday shows.
If you Give a Pig a Pancake

If You Give a Pig a Pancake follows a little girl who is hostess to a challenging piglet, whose never-ending wishes lead them from the kitchen table to the bathtub to the backyard. Who has the patience to host such a piglet? Saturday and Sunday shows.
Princess for a Day Ice Cream Social
@ Heritage Farm Museum (Sterling, VA)
You can be a princess for a day at the Heritage Farm Museum. The court of the Virginia Dairy Princess Program will serve ice cream at an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social. Your young princess can show off their princess finest in our princess pageant at 1:00. The first 100 children receive a complimentary tiara. The Virginia Dairy Princess Program promotes an awareness of the Virginia dairy industry and creates relationships between rural and urban citizens of the Commonwealth. Pre-registration required. This event is Saturday only at 12pm.
