The Arlington County Fair is an annual celebration of Arlington’s cultures and communities. Bring the whole family out for carnival rides and amusements, competitive exhibits, arts and crafts, great food from many countries, live entertainment, pony rides, pig and goat races, and a petting zoo.

Celebrate Asian Elephants @ National Zoo (DC)
Celebrate Asian elephants and the zoo’s decades-long effort to study and conserve this endangered species with activities, exhibits, and performances that center around food, enrichment, and education. The celebration includes activities that give visitors a feel for a day in the life of an elephant as well as displays of Sri Lankan culture and a sneak peek at the new Elephant Trails exhibit.
Clothing Design with Tenesa Brown @ National Museum of Women in the Arts (DC)
The workshop takes teens through the Mary McFadden: Goddesses exhibition to gain inspiration for their own unique outfit designs while learning about the importance of fabric selection and fashion design with fashion design major Tenesa Brown. Advance registration is required.
How to Draw an American Landscape @ Rock Creek Park (DC)

Cambodian Community Day @ Ben Brenman Park (Alexandria, VA)
The Cambodian Community Day brings Cambodian and American families/communities together to recognize Khmer achievements, strengthen Khmer voice and cultures, share Cambodian heritages, and to have fun. A handmade, stone replica of Angkor Wat is also on display.
