Woodstock 40th Anniversary Celebration @ National Mall (DC)
The eight-hour, festival-style show features the music of the bands that played (or were invited to play) at Woodstock, performed by kids from all three local Paul Green School of Rock schools and the School of Rock All-Stars. Held at the Sylvan Theater next to the Washington Monument.

Families can check out the new Woodstock at 40: The Rise of Music Journalism exhibit; make tie-dye bandanas, protest buttons, and hippie love bead bracelets; and listen to reporter accounts of covering Woodstock.

Set in ancient China, three troublesome monkeys run through the farms of Danyang, stealing food and creating trouble. The monkeys believe that they run the town, but are eventually challenged by a tricky old man who shows them their place in the world.
