To celebrate everything strawberry, the Jubilee is packed with contests, special events, and great food. Don’t miss the Diaper Derby – decorate your little one’s diaper for the big race. Family Dig Days @ GW Masonic Temple (Alexandria, VA)
The Alexandria Archaeology Museum invites families to be part of a fascinating archaeological investigation by helping screen excavated soil and discovering first hand the hidden clues left behind by the people who lived and worked on the site hundreds of years ago. Wear hats and/or sunblock on sunny days. Cold water is available, but please bring your own container. Close-toed shoes are required; and though tools are supplied, participants may wish to bring their own gardening gloves. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

SUNDAY, May 31st

Four Mile Run Trail Ribbon Cutting @ Four Mile Run (Arlington, VA)
Join Congressman Jim Moran, members of the Arlington County Board and members of the Alexandria City Council in celebrating the official opening of the new multi-use trail linking the popular Four Mile Run and Washington & Old Dominion Trails. The new trail provides a safer and more direct route for cyclists, runners and walkers under Shirley Highway (I-395) and West Glebe Road along the scenic Four Mile Run. Begins @ 10am.
